The brief was simple – bring new life to a tired building, Savoy Hill House, and transform into a serviced office provision for the IET. Working closely with the professional team, CBRE (Letting Agents) and Cogent (Project Managers), IOR’s recommendations to accentuate and create a contemporary design language to the architecture of the building by introducing arches and curves to soften the space, add visual interest and parity. Coupled with a soft colour palette throughout, ambient feature lighting and carefully curated furniture and fittings, the space rivals some of the best serviced office space in the West End.
In addition to creating a beautiful new design, an overhaul of the MEP and key core areas, including WCs, was undertaken. Working with Direct Synergy we achieved an Energy Performance Certificate A. However, IOR were very keen to repurpose where applicable and develop a strong circular economy narrative which required innovation and strategic thinking.
IOR are building a reputation for delivering unique serviced office space and Savoy Hill House is another great example of beautiful design delivered on time and to competitive budgets.
